Dr. Fawaz Al-Malood is the Associate Dean for the Business Division at Mt. San Antonio College. His division includes: five academic and career and technical education departments with 15 disciplines, multiple grant offices, a child development center, and computer lab.
Prior to being appointed as an Associate Dean, Dr. Al-Malood served in numerous capacities within academia including: Professor, Program Coordinator, Cohort Director, Department Chair, at Mt. San Antonio College, and as a CFO and Trustee at a graduate school.
Dr. Al-Malood received his academic and professional training in Education Management, Business Administration, and Hospitality Management in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to receiving his academic appointment at Mt. San Antonio College, Dr. Al-Malood held positions with: The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Starwood, and other corporate organizations.
Dr. Al-Malood’s proficiency includes: education management, education marketing, program development, curriculum design, development and implementation of distance learning programs, web development for nonprofit and for profit organizations, and online marketing strategic planning and analysis.
Dr. Al-Malood is the Founder of FacultyWorkshop.com a blog dedicated to sharing successful strategies on: teaching, productivity, and professional development for college educators.
